Published ten times yearly by the Panhandle Producers & Royalty Owners Association

The PPROA Pipeline has presented news and information about the Texas Panhandle independent oil and gas industry for more than a quarter century. Each issue includes current industry news from local, state and national perspectives. Regular columns cover legal issues, the market and financial news.

Pipeline is mailed to over 700 addresses, including Association members, news media, services companies and elected officials throughout the tri-state area. It is the ideal forum for explaining oil and gas related services and products to decision makers in the independent petroleum industry.

Readers are decision makers and chief executives in the exploration, production, support and mineral management segments of the oil and gas industry. Each issue is read by three or more before being discarded or filed.

Button link - A small, rectangular button placed on the PPROA home page, which leads the viewer to another site when 'clicked'. Banner - A long, rectangular banner placed on the PPROA home page which briefly describes a service or site and leads the viewer to another location when 'clicked'. Buttons and banners may be prepared by the advertiser or created by PPROA. There will be a small additional charge for preparation of a banner. They will be posted to the PPROA web site within 48 hours after approval of design and features by the client and after receipt of payment for a minimum of one month's equivalent charge. The web site is at www.pproa.org.

Newsletter
Publication frequency - The rate guarantees 10 publications per calendar year (usually April-May, Nov.-Dec. combined). Delivered by bulk mail the second full week of the month. A digest of the newsletter is published at www.pproa.org at the same time.

Protection - PPROA guarantees that there will not be ads on the same page from competing companies.

Copy & Artwork - Advertising copy, including camera-ready artwork, can be supplied by the advertiser. If the advertiser prefers, PPROA will assist in developing copy and artwork for an additional setup charge. Copy and artwork can be updated at the advertiser's discretion. Changes are due no later than Monday of the last full week of the month preceding the month of publication. The smaller the ad, the less complex the overall layout should be. This is especially true of the quarter-page size.

Billing - Billing for advertisements and web siting will be mailed by the tenth day of the month preceding the last month of placement in a schedule. Ad will be dropped from next newsletter if payment is not received prior to publication. Buttons and banners will be removed from the web site no later than midnight of the last day of the schedule unless arrangements are made for additional or continued placement.

Other PPROA Services
Legislative liaison - Staff and committee members spend hundreds of hours per year providing information about the independent petroleum industry to elected representatives and their staffs in Washington and Austin.

Annual Meeting - Every May, producers, support company employees and royalty owners gather for a three-day intensive convention which brings them up to date on the industry. General and event sponsorships and exhibit opportunities are available.

Living Legend - Recognition of a PPROA member who has made significant contributions to the industry and to his or her community; presented every four years. General sponsorships are available.

Internet - Daily commodity quotes, a digest of the Pipeline, and links to other industry sites are placed at www.pproa.org and sent by fax and e-mail to a dozen media outlets in the service area.

Panhandle Petroleum Directory - A comprehensive directory listing every decision maker in the independent oil and gas industry in the Panhandle service area. It is produced every other year and includes an extensive advertising section.
